Title: Passenger seat on a 27MB
Post by: tedeboy on April 06, 2021, 12:23:05 pm
I was curious if anyone has attempted a modification to the dining bench seat to allow the passenger seat to move back and recline better?

Like a removable back?

How does this apply to your TK?

I think that would be difficult but where there’s a will, there’s a way. If the passenger has really short legs, they could put the seat all the way forward and recline more.  😁

I know of one owner who cut the dinette seat back and installed a piano hinge at the seam to allow the dinette seat to hinge forward. I believe the back cushion had to be moved out of the way to make room for the bench to fold toward the table.
I hope this helps.
