I know the Winegard TV antennas need occasional lubrication but what about the factory installed manual satellite antenna? I can’t find any reference to it in the Winegard documentation that came with my LD.

Use a dry spray lube on the gears. Raise the antenna to get a good shot at the gears.
I found this at Home Depot, it a decent all-purpose dry lube.

Thanks, I can use that on the sliding windows too.

I've used this product several times to lube the window tracks. I vacuum the tracks, clean them with a bit of white vinegar of a paper shop towel, carefully spray the lube along the bottom of the track, then slide the windows back and forth a couple of times. The attached 'straw' works to keep the lube off the 'fuzzy' tape on the sides of the tracks.
