Title: Ford says a new doghouse coming to the E-Series for MY 2022
Post by: Charles & Donna on February 18, 2021, 02:12:31 pm
"E-Series cutaway receives a new scalloped engine access cover this year that provides additional legroom in response to customer requests from the recreational vehicle industry."

2022 E-Series (https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/products/commercial/e-series-cutaway/2022-e-series.html)

So far I haven't found any pictures for comparison. I wonder if this doghouse with be able to fit older chassis.

If it would be beneficial, i'd doubt it - extension of Murphy's law

Going way off-topic. Our first e-series was a 1976 E150. The minimally intrusive doghouse allowed us to be able to change drivers at highway speeds. Being young and dumb does have some advantages.  8)

By 1994 the larger doghouse prevented that.
