1994 Mid Bath Shower Skylight Dome Fix?
Called Lazy Daze and dome for older models not available anymore.
It's 20 X 20 inches, No Hinges. It's just a dome with a frame that sits down over the existing opening.
Has anyone replaced this or have other suggestions or ideas?
Haven't used them, but RV Skylights, Square, Rectangular & Round. (https://www.eztopsworldwide.com/rvskylights.htm) looks promising
Hi RGS, Many people, with older models, have replaced their Skylight covers. So, did Lazy Daze say that their new covers won't fit your '94 model? Yes, they don't have a direct replacement for your old one. It has been redesigned with a better, stronger metal frame around it. The source is still the mothership (factory). The description is still a 20" x 20" covering. Did you talk to Todd Miller?
I'll include a link of another members pictures here. New skylight installed (https://www.lazydazeowners.com/index.php?topic=31904.msg189130#msg189130)

I talked to the factory and got the same no it wont fit but they wouldn't tell me how it was different. It seems they did a redesign in 95 and mine is a 94 as well.
I did some research and came up with these guys and may very well go with them when ours gets bad enough to replace.

You could fab your own frame, metal or wood, and cover it with a sheet of Lexan.
Could do it for escape hatch also.
Jon, Thanks for that. To carry on Don's theme, do you have details on what exactly is different between your '94 framework and the later version of motorhomes. It seems to me that the woodwork and sheet aluminum of the roof could be modified to fit the newer style of LD frame surrounded skylight. The 20 x 20 hole seems a common ground. RonB
No not so common im in the same boat you cant find a 20x20 mine is also a 1994 mid bath.

Ron I never took mine apart, just a couple cracks right now. I thought to myself, how different could it be so I talked to Vince and he said no it wouldn't work but he wouldn't tell me the difference. My next move is when it is bad enough, I'll take it apart and make my decision then as long as I have a couple options.
