I look good in pics, Denis, but hidden inside weird, aging things are going on. 🙂 Our members will offer you their opinions but it would help if you gave us some particulars about this Lazy Daze.

If you want an expensive hobby, buy it.   If you want a useable, reliable motorhome, don't.    Frank

Take a look at some of the following topics on older LDs.

Repairing an Older LD (https://www.lazydazeowners.com/index.php?topic=31575.msg186054#msg186054)

Not so good news for LDs older than 1995 models (https://www.lazydazeowners.com/index.php?topic=34178.msg208577#msg208577)

Purchasing an older Lazy Daze... (https://www.lazydazeowners.com/index.php?topic=33277.msg202222#msg202222)

There's plenty more just like these.  Perhaps some of this information will helpful in your decision making process.

Pro: It's old
If you can handle some repairs you will be camping like the rest for a fraction of the cost.

Craigslist ad (https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/rvs/d/las-vegas-lazy-daze-class-motorhome/7232673702.html)
Looks like the linoleum floor tiles are beginning to curl at the edges.  No photos of roof . . .
hmmm,  think I'll put my 11 grand elsewhere.

I was pretty sure that was a 22 foot TK until I noticed the bathroom. The 22’ TK has the sink inside the shower but not the toilet.

Overall, it does look pretty good in the photos but that can be deceiving. There are numerous “gotchas” associated with a 35 year old motorhome. It needs to be inspected thoroughly for water damage to start. I would have a good mechanic do an inspection of the engine, tranny, brakes, etc.  Have an RV tech inspect the appliances unless you have the necessary knowledge and skill to do so.

No doubt you will need to put some serious cash into it, either right away or soon, so account for that. Love the color!  🙂

Good luck!

Denis, looking at the picture it looks to me like the bathroom is a wet bath and not a dry one meaning that there is no separate shower.  I don’t know if LD ever had that in their RV’s so I would ask about that.

We had a '72 17' LD. In those days they had "wet baths" with porti-pottis and no holding tanks.
