Title: AGM battery vs wet
Post by: rabbitdiesel1 on November 03, 2020, 08:42:56 pm
I'm replacing my wet acid 6v batteries with AGM 6v batteries, are there any charging adjustments  to the solar, or inverter, or engine alternator?

Yes to the solar charge controller and converter, if that is what you meant. If yours do not show an AGM setting in the instructions, it would be wise to factor replacements into the total cost. If you have a whole-house inverter that is also a battery charger, the same applies. Mis-charging AGM batteries will lead to electrolyte loss, and that is terminal.
