Title: Did you buy George's 2013 24 TK?
Post by: kat on September 11, 2020, 02:22:34 pm
Hi All,

I was a day later than someone from ?Utah? who purchased a 2013 TK with low mileage in Escondido.  If it was you, may I have a quick minute of your time please?  I'm trying to learn.

Thank you!

Kat

That is (was) an impressive asking price.  We sold our 2015 TK with 3,000 miles in Fall of 2018 for $65,000.  Interesting times we live in.

That's the list price, right?  not the sale price.

I'm hoping the buyer is in this forum. Maybe not. 🤷

Happy for a private message from the buyer, if you don't want to be put in the spotlight.😊

I've been monitoring the prices still after buying our '95 RL a month ago, and they have been going very high so fast!!

But even then, ad price is always negotiable!

For this one honestly I wouldn't have payed more than $50k!

That's interesting. I would have. The pricing chart on this very forum has the average at $55k for this year/size and this one has super low use and seems to be pristine.

If i might have a few words with the lucky buyer, I'd appreciate it.

Are you certain it was someone on this forum?

No I'm not at all certain.  I'm just trying to be hopeful and open minded that the person might still respond after reading comments left by others.

I suspect that, if the buyer is on this forum, that s/he would not respond for the same reasons!  ;)

Would not respond in a private message to me?  As a result of what others have posted? Well i think that says more about the comments already posted than the buyer, unfortunately.

Hi Kat;  I live near Escondido, and was there yesterday. Utah is a ways away, and in between is Las Vegas, so I'd be inclined to dally around there with my 'new to me' motorhome.  I don't normally go online with my phone, it eats a lot of giga bytes easily.
The new owners, may respond eventually.
While it seems hard to believe, because there are so many people here, I think way less than 50% of owners are even aware that there is a Forum for Lazy Daze owners. And fewer that participate. There are many LD's in southern Cal and when I see one in a campground, I often can contact them. I carry business cards for the FOLD (thanks to past member Jack and Jeanette Walker) and give them a card with this website. I don't want them to think that I'm just some guy who is trying to sell them something.
I've followed friends from the Caravan club as they sell their motorhomes, and rarely do I see any of those motorhomes show up on this site. And many people in the Caravan club for that matter are almost unaware that this forum is here.   RonB
