Title: Has anyone painted cabinets?
Post by: SoCal-Gal on August 29, 2020, 11:20:09 pm

I have a 1991 RB 26.5 LD. The laminate on the front of the cabinets is starting to peel and look dated. I was thinking about painting the cabinets and was wondering if anyone else has painted their cabinets and how they turned out. I don't know what to do about the rounded wall trim pieces that look like wood but are a laminate, mdf or plastic but not wood.  Any ideas?

use liquid sandpaper or 220 grit to de-gloss.
apply OIL based primer. let dry.
apply cabinet/trim paint. BEHR works well.
enjoy.
