After a night rain shower at Morro Bay, that evening my TV antenna shed a few drops of water down through the crank up rod. Not much. Checking the roof seal, things looked good, but that could be deceptive. Any thoughts about where that water might have entered the device? After 18 years, all of my vents and roof top seals need to be resealed. The seams are done.

If I recall correctly, the crank shaft has two O-rings on it. Attached is a parts list with the o-rings highlighted.

Thanks, Ken. That sounds like a good place to start.

Chris, that water could be coming from several feet away and then hitting the pole (once inside the roof structure) and coming down the pole. Find a friend with a FLIR camera (or other thermal imaging camera) and pour some water in that general location and see what the camera tells you.

Thanks, Jane.
I might have the same problem. Any Update Chris?

It only leaked once and I have not sought out the problem yet. It's on my short list of things to do. I will post when I get to it.
