Title: Radiator Cap
Post by: Webebad on January 20, 2020, 02:37:10 pm

I just had my radiator fixed - the fixed a couple of seams that were leaking. I have a 20PSI plus cap on the radiator. The guys at the shop told me to buy a 13PSI radiator cap. I have a 1993 Ford E-350 460 V8.
I'm looking online- there is a quite a few that will fit my make and model but there seems to a difference with Cap Depth . Any thoughts or recommendations.

Side note they said my leaks were probably caused by having the 20PSI cap on. BTW this is a 2 year old radiator.

Your LD should is supposed to have a 13-lb cap. 20-lbs is way too high.
Remove the radiator cap, take it to Napa and have them match it, with a 13-lb cap.
