Title: Technoz Yahoo Group
Post by: Michelle C on October 20, 2019, 09:19:13 pm
Looking over our Yahoo Groups I realized the Techsnoz site is actually a Yahoo Group.

Does anyone know Terry well enough to find out if he needs help preserving the info (or perhaps that has already been done)?

Terry is aware of the issue and says he has his material safely backed up. Thanks for the reminder, Michelle.

"Terry is aware of the issue and says he has his material safely backed up."

That's good, but does he have any plans to make it available to the public again? I seem to recall that he once turned down the opportunity to merge his files into this forum, but perhaps now would be a good time to reconsider...

I have contacted Terry about merging the Techsnoz files to LDOG; however, he has not responded. Be aware that most, if not all of the documents Terry has posted over the years are PDFs and can be downloaded. If you have access to Techsnoz, you could save the files that interest you before the group disappears.

I am a member of the following groups and downloaded the files (#, MB) for:
Lazy Daze 31 Footer (2, 1MB)
Morro Bay  (10, 2MB)
Technoz (200 +/- {I may have miscounted a couple}, 67MB)

I uploaded Terry's index to MEDIA> Group Files > Lazydaze Information
If you can't get them off Yahoo, PM me and I can forward a copy

They can delete off my thumb drive when they pry it out of my cold, dead hands.

If you are a member of Techsnoz Yahoo Group and wish to have continued access to Terry's important files, you can download them by following the instructions here: Photos and files can be saved (https://help.yahoo.com/kb//groups/photos-files-saved-sln2526.html) right from the Yahoo Groups site, or you can download your data from the Privacy Dashboard (https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/getmydata). Terry created and made these files to help Lazy Dazers.
