I'm not for sure if this is what you are looking for, but I was involved in a discussion back in March you can view by searching "Aluminum corrosion (rust) paint bubbling."

There was a thread about paint cracking along the side panels. I have a 2017 MB and both sides have this issue. I think the consensus was that it's just a cosmetic issue. The thread was titled "cracking/chipping paint".

All I know is that, many times when I do a search, I end up with mostly older results from the Yahoo archive and the newer threads seem to escape me.

The key to it, Greg, is filling in the range blanks for message age. I pasted in below what you see when you go to the Search function under Community on the home page. Obviously, the lower the # of days, the newer the posts. If you want about 3 years of posts, then you put 0 and 1000 in the blanks.

Or, look at the option in the search (from the community menu bar item - top left) to order results "most recent first". The default is "most relevant", but sometimes you want the most recent.
With that advanced search menu, you can also search just for a specific user's posts on a subject, too, if you happen to recall someone named "JimmyJoe" posted about coffee and wanted to go back and read what they said ;D Plus you can select which boards you search in, so you can exclude the Yahoo Archive if you wish.
On our return voyage home from Yellowstone yesterday, I stopped by the Mothership and picked up the Paint & Activator to do a touch up on our RB panel seams. $10 for the kit.
Todd confirmed that the cracking is due to caulking left inadvertently at some panel seams. He mentioned that after administering the caulking they use a fine tipped pick (if you will) to remove the excess sealant prior to the paint application. It is a tricky (my words) procedure and occasionally some residue is left behind. At these points, the paint can crack. He assured me that there is no possibility that water intrusion will occur at any of the panel seams.
He also mentioned that the roof sealant along the edges of the roof do not accept paint well and that any peeling of paint on the seals is nothing to be concerned about.
Regarding the roof sealant, he mentioned that LD owners can periodically check to see if any of the seal edges have lifted at any point. If this is the case, a small application of polyurethane sealant can be applied to re-adhere the lifting edges.

Hi Kent. Funny thing.... I have pictures of the front of the Mothership taken in 1998 that are identical. I can't actually see any changes in the last twenty+ years! RonB

My first visit to the Lazy Daze was September of 2014. Nothing has changed on the inside either. I absolutely love it.
Our local Toyota dealership was forced to upgrade their facility recently. Now it looks like any other. Prior to the remodel, it was very much a “Blast From The Past” as Lazy Daze.
There is a small market next to Serrano CG at Big Bear Lake that has not changed a lick in over 50 years. I can imagine many a Hollywood notable purchasing bait and tackle there long, long ago. Maybe even Clark Gable.
Lots of history and memories in such throw back establishments. Kinda heart warming.
