Hi Lou. A commonly visited topic! Under the Community header, topics will drop down, The 'Search' with 'tank rinser' entered will yield many comments including Andy's (in)famous picture of the inside of his MidBath holding tank!   RonB

Using a cap like the one on the gray tank valve so I can hook up a hose,  I fill the black tank from the outside using a hose and full pressure to loosen up anything  on the bottom of the tank.  I fill the tank up, cautiously, then dump.  Repeat this if you want.  The book says to fill it through the toilet which would be safer.  Flushing in the this manner as frequently as practical seems to keep the tank "clean".  However, I haven't taken any pictures so can't prove it.     Frank

We have a TK so a straight drop to the toilet (unlike the MB which has curves between the toilet and tank).
We use a wand and it works great to keep the tank clean enough that the factory sensors still work, even in a 30 year old rig.
There are flexible wands that will get thru 90 degree turns in the plumbing, but I am have not heard anyone reporting they used them on a MB.

Vanden, what year and model LD do you have? I'd like to add it to your profile.
