Title: parking brake service
Post by: Esther Spradlin on May 17, 2019, 11:09:35 am
Good morning,   Had a little clunking engaging parking last time we got home and have question.  We do all our own service and repairs so question is.   How do you service the parking brake,  seems from picture possible 2 plugs in the top.
Can you drain an refil the unit or is it to require a pump to flush the unit and refil??   I do not really like using a flush service every time I have had a tranny flushed all I get is leaks from the job.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks Grumpy

Have you seen this?

The comments on Larry Wade's flickr photos are useful too (link to the photos on the page above)

Also, this:

Good luck with the project,
