Title: Cleaning Moen kitchen faucets
Post by: Ross and Beverly Taylor on May 14, 2019, 08:03:27 am
Our kitchen faucet was not working other than a small drip on the single stream setting.  Under the spray setting it works great.  I have taken the head off and cleaned the removable screen.  Upon reinstallation, it failed to work much better.  I removed the head and soaked it in vinegar and water for about 30 minutes.  Upon reinstallation it worked much better though not perfect.  Are there any other steps I need to take to clean the head better?

Instead of the weak acid in Vinegar try the product CLR. It is made for that very thing. It will not harm your faucet, I've used it for years.   ;)
