Post by: Robin B on February 07, 2019, 01:49:45 pm
Anyone have issues with buzzing ceiling lights?  Mine buzz in light over kitchen and bedroom.  Happens when hooked up to electrical.

"Anyone have issues with buzzing ceiling lights?"

If your light fixtures have not yet been converted to LED, but are still the old Fluorescent types, the buzzing is typical of the ballast used. It's a case of live with it or convert to LED which will bypass the ballast.   ::)   ;)

I recommend you upgrade your converter to a multi-stage model that will keep the batteries charged more effectively and at the same time avoid that buzz, which is due to 120 Hz ripple on the 12V line. E.g:

55 Amp Kit for 6300 Series (http://www.bestconverter.com/55-Amp-Kit-for-6300-Series_p_47.html#.XFy1j817lhE)
