Post by: Cebuano54 on October 17, 2018, 11:09:51 am
Looking to install valve stem extenders on the rear inside wheels. Any recommendations? Amazon has many listings. TIA.

This may be the number one question here.  I will say without any fear of contradiction that no one with any knowledge uses extensions. They are a disaster waiting to happen. You would a long valve stem. Borg makes them. You will find, some perhaps out date links, on The Companion about valve stems and valve extensions. Google Borg valve stems, you will find sources and even Youtube clips on them.

Please consider trying The Companion first, decades of information there.

And the next time you post, please use a name.

Amazon has thousands of products from vendors no one has ever heard of.
I'm alway hesitant to buy from unknown brands from unknown sellers, not being able to determined the quality of the product
Borg Tire has been selling quality extenders for years and would be my go to source.
Duallyvalve Kits for Ford, GM, Dodge - Class C (http://yourtireshopsupply.com/category/796_828/ford-dodge-class)

The Tire Man use to be a preferred source but it appears he has finally gone out business.

Cebuano?, is that a reference to the Philippines?

The "Tireman" website is still up, but Chuck died a few months ago. No replies to emails or phone calls, and I don't know what happened to the inventory of long valves.
