Title: Power tools for women.
Post by: Alice on October 14, 2018, 02:27:09 am
If you like to use power tools but find most of them to be either too much tool for the project or too heavy or too big to hold comfortably or just plain to rude to use, I have found that just these three tools do not have those problems and replace about 90% of my current tool box items.
They are cordless, light in weight, the right size for a woman's hand and straightforward-easy.
The Hitachi is just a little bigger than an oven door handle and great for everyday screwdriver stuff.
The Bosch drill/driver is awesome, quiet and easy to use when working on a ladder or over your head.
The Bosch oscillating tool is a multi use powerhouse tool that is also polite and civilized.

If you pick your power tools from the same manufacturer you also gain the advantage of having the same battery that will work with all of the various tools.

Chet,
I have the bosch drill with 18v lithium batteries and I have to disagree about them being discharged.  I had this problem with the old nicad batteries, but the lithiums seem to stay charged  in storage forever.  I just make sure they are charged when I put the drill away.

I do agree about having one type of battery though.  Good idea.
