Our toilet base cowl has never snapped together and stayed together since we've owned our LD. I've tried a couple of things but none lasted very long. So today I placed a white 36" zip tie around the base of the cowl, trimmed the excess and rotated the locking piece to the rear of the toilet. A simple but satisfying repair.
In addition, we finally got around to replacing the halogen lights above the dinette table with natural light LEDs from M4. These LEDs create a better light than the halogen in our opinion and of course, they're not hot like the halogen. I really like simple projects that really are simple.
