New swamp coolers are very expensive. But, if the cover or case of your current one are damaged, a new one will be the best bet. If something mechanical has failed, such as motor, valves, etc, repair is a cheaper option.

I've used 3 TurboKools (formerly RecAir) on a camper and 3 motorhomes over a 28 year period. Yep, we really like the unit, but have never used any other.

The water line is toast. Just too old to bother repairing.
