Title: My liquid nails experiment
Post by: Sawyer on July 02, 2018, 12:16:53 pm
Had a six inch section at the very bottom of the front end cap  on my LD lifting just a bit and after reading multiple post on the issue in here I decided I better seal it before a trip I was about to take. I didn't have any of the recommended products on hand and it's a three hour round trip for me to go to town so I rummaged through my building supplies and found a tube of liquid nails clear adhesive sealant. It's not silicone so I figured what the heck I'll seal this in case I hit rain in Oregon and if it doesn't seem to work I'll redo it later. After my trip it still looks great and is holding well. Time will tell on this little experiment but I've always had good luck with liquid nails products and hope for the best on this. I like the fact that it's clear too. Time will tell.
