I'm posting this in case it can save any forum members some money.
I have been a SDFCU member for a couple years, and was asking around to see what kind of financing I could get for part of my upcoming 27" mid bath LD. I plan to pick up July 16th. It seems they offer the same rates as if you bought a car, I think new or used. I believe they lend $80K maximum. of course you must have great credit to get this rate. Any other details contact them directly please
Right before I joined (easily) a few years ago, I was asking them for information to see if they were real, I asked for their branch locations and one was it the Pentagon lol I was good. I am not connected with them in any way, just a happy customer.
1-703-706-5000. They are in Washington DC, so we call them in the AM, since we are in California.
I have been super busy, getting a new stronger driveway to stop flooding garage issues, and planning my RV 30 Amp plugs conduit under concrete etc
Do you know what their requirements are for membership?
I don’t remember but it was extremely easy...
I bet even Dave Ramsey loves a 2% loan, or maybe not 🐯👀
Then even at 1.99%, is all of part of the interest paid somewhat deductible due to its a vacation home?
It’s very likely that the website contains all the information needed.
Not interested for myself but thought some forum members might be. I don't know what tax benefits might be available for financing but I found their membership requirements:
How to Join State Department Federal Credit Union | SDFCU (https://www.sdfcu.org/how-do-i-join)
I would also check out Logix Credit union we were offered a rate of 1.49.

I went to look at Logix and found this.....these rates seem a little lower than SDFCU for the longer terms I think
