Use plenty of DEET! Its cheaper and far less hassle.  ;)  8)

I’ve seen these screen rooms on various RVs  and they seem to offer an outdoor space that is relatively bug free.   I think that a quick search on that topic will give you some phone numbers to call.   In addition one of those free standing screen tents could be a less expensive alternative.

I think I read here that folks were having trouble finding the right size screen room for LD awnings. They also can be heavy and expensive.

We considered buying rolls of screen and making our own. In the end we went with a freestanding screen - which is handy because you have more placement options.  Paired with a few DEET products and one of these...

Thermacell (https://m.lowes.com/pd/Thermacell-Black-Mosquito-Repeller/50371646?cm_mmc=SCE_PLA-_-LawnGarden-_-OutdoorPesticide-_-50371646:Thermacell&CAWELAID=&kpid=50371646&CAGPSPN=pla&store_code=1114&k_clickID=abf3b4c8-1683-46fa-9f56-1ba5b73d6586&gclid=CjwKCAjwsJ3ZBRBJEiwAtuvtlL6ibVBRJfqfugl88YKTmqmmm-KAlZvEYKpJIXNsSczn8dlsOg9T_RoC5WQQAvD_BwE)

...buggy places have been much more  palatable...

Thank you all, going to go with freestandng for now. Sounds like less hassle, not much storage and can’t find attached one that works with the LD awning. And the Thermacell, great idea !

A Fiamma awning will self destruct with a hard gust of wind, I wouldn't want to add the extra sail area to an already weak system.
A free standing tent sounds perfect and can be located wherever is best and not limited to a parking pad.

Have deet, a Thermacell, Coleman free standing 12’ wide zip up room and a Carefree awning screen.

Have I said before that I love RV gadgets? 🤔

Yes I do. 😊

Knowing that I would never get around to making my own, I bit the bullet & bought Skeeter Beaters - fabric screens with magnets made to fit driver & passenger Windows. Just in case you want Windows open to catch the breeze while you're inside.

When we had our '83 (Chevy G-30) we purchased cab window screens with solid, curved frames custom made for the purpose - roll down the window, stick the screen up into the slot, and roll the window up until it meets the bottom of the frame. Don't know if they ever made them for the Fords...
