We have a 2002 30 IB with an analog TV installed in the front entertainment center. Has anyone replaced their analog with a flat screen TV and if so, how did they do it? We hope to do it by using a small enough TV that the cabinetwork will not have to be compromised.

Marvin, I have the same LD and converted to digital some years back. Here's a link to the photos. http://www.lazydazeowners.com/index.php?action=media;sa=album;in=173

From a different owner: Thanks for your reply. From the pictures, I believe I can easily install my new flat screen.
BUT, I can't figure out how to remove the analog TV it is so seamlessly installed.
Any suggestions?

It will wiggle out. You might have to unstaple the carpet strip in front of it. I can't remember if I had to do that or not.

I see you're a newer member to the LDO Forum. Please accept our welcome to this neighborhood and we hope to learn more about you and your Lazy Daze. I think you find this Forum is full of help and even has a few characters! And best of luck with that analog TV.
Chris, thanks for your reply. I could not see those staples, but after your reply assumed they were there and plied up the carpet that exposed two screws that secured the retaining frame. Removing the TV was easy peasy from there. Thanks again.
Ed & Margee,
Thanks for your welcoming. I'm a born again LDer. Bought 2001 Lady Jane in 2002 via the old Yahoo forum and full-timed it thru the decade as a semi-pro poker player. After an eight year break, Dad and I are hitting the road for a year as soon as I can get toaded up. It's been fun reading all the posts here as things have changed in the years I have been gone. Lady Jane runs as well as she did when brand new.

You are welcome. Obvously I forgot about retaining frame.
Do you still have your '01 30' or another model?
Chris
I have a 26.5' rear kitchen with the entertainment option that looks like your 31'.
As a full-timer, the extra storage in the overcab is crucial.
Thanks again for your pictures; they made the TV installation a snap
