Title: Punctured water line by carpet staple
Post by: Will on May 19, 2018, 04:17:49 pm
We are remodeling a 2004 LD  and decided to replace the "not original carpet" out .  Of course we had to pull out the numerous staples in the floor.  We took a break and came back and found 3 water spots on the floor which was not there before.  We had just pulled staples from that location earlier. We think the staples punctured the water line. Question.  How do we replace the water lines that run from the hot water heater to the shower.  Is there a trick.  We are handy with tools.   It looks like a tight place to work.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated .

Assuming a Mid Bath, the left Access is through the left rear storage compartment or barrel chairs.  Right access is through the drawers and  or  unscrew the pull out sofa guide rail. Remove pullout
remove luann covers over water heater.
