Title: Getting the Bugs Off
Post by: Don Malpas on December 10, 2017, 02:01:12 pm
This is really trivial, but I wanted to share it.

Getting the bugs out the space between the windshield and the cab over, is difficult, especially when on the road. This is how I do it. Keep in mind even with this tool, that I am 6'4" and so have a long reach.

I added this tip to the article Washing (http://lazydazearticles.blogspot.com/2011/01/exterior-cleaning.html) on The Companion. Scroll down until you see pictures.

Maybe you have figured out a better way?

Thx, Don!  Now that LDy Lulubelle has her new paint job I'm going to be much more meticulous with her, so this will be good to know.

Unlike you ("... 6'4" and so have a long reach."), I am back down to 5' (I topped out at a whopping 5' 1 3/4" in 9th grade & was proud to have outgrown my 5' mama   ;D ).   Unfortunately, the vertical shrinking is outpacing the horizontal shrinking   :P , but I keep a little 3-step ladder in a storage bay just for cleaning the windows when I gas up.
