Title: Water leak
Post by: Matt Jones on June 28, 2017, 12:04:50 pm
I own a 2002, 26',  MB. Water is dripping down the side of the coach and the source appears to be at the connection where the city water hose connects to the coach. The water although leaks when not connected to city water and appears to leak more water when the pump is left on and the system is pressurized. The pump will cycle frequently as the water leaks out and with the associated pressure loss.  Hoping this is an easy repair. Would appreciate any input. Thanks Matt

Do LD's have a backflow  prevent valve near the city water connection?  If so, sounds like that is leaking by.

I believe it is the check valve at the city water inlet that has failed. When that happens water will leak there when the water pump is turned on. A cheap fix is buying a screw in plug.
