Title: Window Locks
Post by: ariestar50_14353 on June 15, 2017, 06:28:36 pm
Another window lock has broken  :( and the last post with the part # was 10 years ago.  It says Part # 110-241 from Hehr International.  Is there any more recent information on these?  And is Hehr International the best place to get them?  Am I the only one that has window locks that break off every few years?  Must be the vicious California sun  :'(  Any info on these would be appreciated.   ~~~~Rose

What year is your rig? This lock fits the double-pane windows. You could also try e-bay, the mothership.

If you find a place to get them, let me know.  I have the same issue with broken window locks on my 2002 MB.

I may have some info in my LD which I will have at home tomorrow. If so, I will report it.

Broke one a couple years ago on my 04. I just bought the one at Camping World. It looks different but it works fine. Sooo, I bought another as a spare. 👍🏻

I had several break in the last couple years on my 2007 MB. They don't make the original ones anymore and the RV store I went to replaced the first broken one with the newer model of Hehr double pane window latches. I then went online to amazon and bought some more to have them on hand as the others break. They are also available at camping world and probably other supply stores

They are a little different then the originals but work fine except you have to be sure they are latched tightly when you close the blinds or the latch handle will catch

Here is the part I purchased at CW. Again, the latch mechanism is a little different as it "sticks out" when in the open position but again, it works on my double pane 04 window. There is a single pane latch at CW too that may work on older models.

It's nice to have a CW about two miles from Ruby's storage as I can experiment and if something doesn't fit I can take it right back.

I just ordered two more for my 2005 27.5 MB.  Lazy Daze mothership had  them for $5.00 a piece.  Shipping $2.69 and handling $3.50 = $16.19.  Check only.

Of the locks linked/shown/described in messages in this thread, which did you order from LD? The locks on later models have changed through the years.
