Yep and I don't get the paint job and all the repairs.  The outside looks better than the inside.

I'm wondering why no one commented on this rig?  I don't understand how a 1988 rig can look this way with a different paint job; a more mainstream paint job.  It's been posted for sale for a long time.  Why would an old rig look like this?

It has been repainted in a contemporary scheme.
No one will recognize it as an LD, no waves from passing LDs, on the road, or other LD owners looking  you up, in a  campground, because they see you own an LD. A big part of owning an LD is the community, if you care about such things.

It has three transmission, no overdrive, which equals poor mileage and increased engine wear.
It has the inferior throttle body fuel injection, not the better electronic fuel injection, found in models a few years newer.
It is a pre-91, so it has the leak prone front cap and window.
It's a lot of money for a near thirty year old RV.

Yes a very very long time. I think I saw it last June when we were shopping for a LD.

Thanks Larry.  I thought it might have been in an accident and so was repaired and repainted.  I'd never change the LD look the way these folks did. Oth, maybe they thought if it looked new, no one would pay attention to the very important things you mentioned. The water intrusion potential is scary enough for me.

Thanks.
