I always knew that a healthy battery could withstand very cold temperatures to include -20 to -30 F. But I was surprised to learn that a healthy battery with a 100% charge will not freeze until the temperatures reaches -92 F. On the other hand, a battery with only 20% charge will freeze at +19 F. Just some interesting battery information. Btw, this information came from an article in a RV magazine, which referenced the BCI Battery Service Manual.
