I read on another forum that Newmar is using Eternabond on their new coaches (see post #7) at Eternabond on Roofs - iRV2 Forums (http://www.irv2.com/forums/f103/eternabond-on-roofs-320422.html). So that is just a bit of interesting information that I wanted to share. Eternabond is in our future ... maybe in 2017 to be on the safe side.
When I got my '08, my first project was Eternabond. I put it on during the first summer I owned it. I knew I would do it eventually, so why not now? The materials certainly won't be coming down in price. Plus by covering the factory sealant while it was in good condition , that would prevent the sun from causing it to deteriorate so no need for any extra prep work.
Plus I could scratch one item off my list of stuff to worry about.
