Hello, A little repair work needed on the kitchen sink-2 small circular spots from heat damage. What is the sink material?  Thank you.

The sink is acrylic. YouTube has some interesting takes on RV sink stains/burns. I hesitate to link any here as they don't specify "acrylic" in their descriptions.

If you go to the search bar here at LDO and type "kitchen sink" or some such phrase, there are several discussions associated with topics of care and repair.

Just curious. What caused the burns? Also let us know if you get them out.

Kent, We didn't give it a thought but after heating up the teapot my wife put the lid of the pot in the sink.  A small knob on the lid left a melted  small circular indent about the size of a pencil eraser.   We have 2 spots to fix. Needless to say nothing hot goes in the sink.
