There is no way that any of us can say if this a good deal or not or if it is worth anything at all, by just looking at an web ad.
Have it inspected by a good mechanic and then a good RV tech.
Remember you are buying both a house and a truck, both of which are very old.
The few hundred spent upfront, on inspections, can save you thousands in the future.
The older Ford were not as dependable as the later V10 models.
Happy hunting

Nice old vintage camper. I would read the many recent threads here asking the same question you ask. So many ways the old ones go bad, all covered in those discussion threads. In my '92 that I bought for $9K, I have invested another $7K to get it in good condition. That is I have spent that much so far.
The old 351 is woefully underpowered for this weight. Hence the things put on to make it perform better.
Bottom line is to take Larry's sage advice and have it inspected. And set aside a few thousand $ to make it cherry, or just keep it going.
