Title: Phoenix and Tucson RV Park Recommendations
Post by: sandralazydaze on September 25, 2016, 08:43:00 am
We are traveling to the Phoenix and Tucson areas the last week in November. We will be in each city only 2 or 3 days visiting friends. Looking on the Web for RV Parks in the Phoenix area especially is overwhelming. I like to swim so a large swimming pool is desired when we aren't with friends. Any recommendations for RV Parks in either city?? Thanks, Sandra

Each city covers a large area, Phoenix in particular.  If you'll let us know which area of each city you need to be in, you'll get better answers for RV parks near where your friends live, rather than having to drive 50 miles each way in city traffic (perhaps an exaggeration for Tucson, but certainly not for the Phoenix area).

I had a good time at Desert Trails Park in Tucson. It's a converted water park, made into a homey homemade park. They have live music twice a week, food trucks come twice a week and endless activities, most hosted by the residents, like mountain biking, skeet shooting, hiking, photography, etc. Most of the seasonals come every year so there is a great deal of "good to see you again" stuff.
