Greetings to all! It is time (probably past time) to change the transmission fluid in our 2005 RK as it now reached the 25,000 mile point. The fluid has a bit of a brown tinge to it. Can anyone recommend a reliable shop or dealer to perform this service? The shop that does our car does not do large vehicles. They recommended a couple of local dealerships. However they did not seem to have great reviews when we checked online. Thank you for the advice! Wally & Cathy Krieger
Did you check out this Ford truck center?
Portland Ford Trucks | Vancouver Truck Dealer | Van, SUV, Fleet Oregon (http://www.northsidetrucks.com/)
Thank you for responding. Northside Trucks was one of the shops mentioned. It has some negative reviews. Do you have personal experience with them? Krieger's
No, I don't know the shop. I didn't see negative "reviews" , but this was only from a quick look. Just curious if the negative reviews referred to service (not sales) and were from recent experiences?
I have used Northside Ford for the past six years and have been satisfied with their service.

Thank you all for the perspective and advice. We appreciate it. Kriegers
I'm scheduled to take my '01 RK in to Northside next week for a break inspection. I liked the phone interview to schedule the inspection.
I'll report on how the inspection/work goes.

I have used Northside Ford Truck for many service issues. They don't do tires or tire area service. They outsource them to Industrial Tire Center.
